5Quality that I have come to expect from TourMaster
By Keenan D. Poore
I love that the product designers at TourMaster are constantly delivering innovative designs and comfort for the everyday and touring biker. I commute everyday in Kansas on a Kawasaki Versys where the weather is as unpredictable as it comes. In choosing protective gear, I always consider and often choose TourMaster because they have seldom not had a product that meets my needs. The gloves contain one of the more useful squeegees I have had and the emergency covers are a lifesaver when the surprise deluge comes along. The fit is correct with freedom of movement on a cold day. The Gauntlets come well above the cuffs with a cinch-able expansion for further weather protection. I highly recommend this glove. I should note that I have ridden to 15 degrees so far this year with high winds. I am warm blooded and the gloves were substantial. I feel I can ride into the single digits (and have in years past with worse gloves,) in comfort.

2not much better than $20 ski gloves
By J. Palmisano
I'm comparing this to my old pair of cheap ~$20 ski gloves.

Comfort:
The ski glove is way more comfortable to wear. The Tourmaster glove is stiff and tight, and makes my hand feel tired after awhile.

Dexterity:
The Tourmaster has tight fit fingers, so I can operate keys and coat buttons and turning signals better than my ski gloves. But if I use the raincoat for the Tourmaster, the ski gloves are then better.

Warmth:
The Tourmaster at ~40mph in 18F weather (with the extra rain guard): within 5 minutes my hands felt pain from the cold.

To make a fair warmth comparison, I wore a ski glove on my left hand, and the Tourmaster (with the extra rain guard) on my right. In ~36F weather at ~40mph. Both hands were feeling cold, but didn't really bother me much. My hand with the ski glove was just slightly colder.

The cuffs on both are good, but I like how the Tourmaster cuffs are even longer - makes it even easie r to secure.

Safety:
There is no hard padding on the Tourmaster - a big disappointment. It has soft pads, but only slightly more than what my ski glove has. The safety pads are so soft they'd probably rip away on pavement.

The reflectors on the Tourmaster are great, but I'd like them located not just on the cuff but other places too. My ski gloves have tiny reflectors, but I can always sew reflective fabric onto it for ~$5.

Waterproofness:
I didn't test this for the Tourmaster. But my ski gloves are definitely *not* waterproof.

Conclusion: the Tourmaster gloves are no better than a $20 pair of ski gloves, with the exception of waterproofing. It's not worth the cost, so I'm returning it. I will instead buy battery heated ski gloves to survive sub-freezing temps.
