The Bell Vortex is every bit the helmet you'd expect of the Star's little brother. Developed in Bell's state-of-the-art Santa Cruz, Calif. design center, the Vortex borrows heavily from the Star, using its Velocity Flow Ventilation with FlowAdjust for amazing ventilation and temperature control, as well as ClickRelease the reigning world champ in shield ease-of-use. The lightweight polycarbonate shell is molded into a stable, wind cutting shape, and comfort is in no short supply with contoured cheek pads and a plush removable comfort liner. Finish it off with a noise reducing wind collar and integrated speaker pockets and you have a complete package at a killer price.

Bell Flack Vortex Street Bike Motorcycle Helmet - White

I'm new to motorcycle riding so I’m no expert since this is the first helmet for me. I got Bell helmet due to all the good online reviews. The fit and finish is top notch and it’s a nice helmet. I would have given this a 5 star, but I was disappointed when I found out that my helmet I got did not have the magnefusion strap keeper. After calling Bell’s customer service I found out that the magnefusion strap keeper is a new feature that came out late (really late) 2012 (my helmet was manufactured in Nov. 2012). According to Bell that was the only difference between the old and new Vortex helmet.
